Welcome home to the Overlook Cottage at the Parkway. Located just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, the view is spectacular! Conveniently located less than 1/2 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway, this new construction is perfect for your getaway in the area. Its proximity to Mabry Mill, Chateau Morrisette and the quaint Towns of Meadows of Dan, Floyd and Mt. Airy, NC make it a very desirable location for your stay.
Built in 2019, the Overlook Cottage at the Parkway hosts two bedrooms and can accommodate up to five guests. The master suite has a queen bed, the loft has a twin bed and the guest bedroom has a queen as well. Plenty of room with privacy. Enjoy the porch and have a picnic while enjoying the magnificent view of the mountains.

– dual heat pumps for upstairs and down

Beautiful location with stunning views. The cottage was the perfect retreat and is truly a “home away from home”. Pat was wonderful and we will definitely rebook with her.
Equal distance to Mt Airy, Meadows of Dan and Hillsville. If new to area then recommend arriving before nightfall – breathtaking views all along the winding way!

The house was beautiful. The views were amazing. If you are a fan of the Blue Ridge Parkway this place is for you! We stayed here on a recent trip to Mount Airy and this cabin was the highlight of our trip. I would recommend staying here if you have the chance!

We were in Ararat to help a family friend with her move. After a long day of hauling stuff to the dump and sweating in the sun it was nice to be able to open the door to a clean home. Quick adjustment to the temperature setting and we were out enjoying the view on the deck looking at the night stars and talking until 1 am. Ate the little cereals for breakfast the next morning and we were out. Not much time to be able to really enjoy the home, but it was one we will likely rent again the next time we’re in the area.

Pat’s place is absolutely lovely. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths was great for our friends and us. We loved the place. So many neat places to see nearby. We will be back! Make sure you have the check in information written down. When it says no cell service, they aren’t kidding! We had to drive to Dollar General to get the info off our phone! 😂

We only stayed one night as we passed through the area on a Blue Ridge Parkway trip. It was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Very smooth and easy experience from beginning to end. It was very easy to get on/off the Parkway from here as well. I would definitely stay here again!
